You Said, We Did!

Kia ora koutou,

Thank you to all of our learners who have taken the time to fill in our online surveys and provide feedback so far this year!

You might be wondering what we actually do with this feedback. It’s simple – we listen, and we use it to make the learning experience better for you and all future learners.

Thanks to you, we have been able to make the following improvements this year:

YOU SAID that you learn best if the courses have practical aspects, so WE are integrating simulated real, world environments into new course developments to enable you to apply your skills and knowledge in real-world like scenarios.

YOU SAID that Yammer caused some issues with forum posts, so WE custom built our new communication system to make it more reliable and userfriendly to ensure you receive all the information you need to have a successful, and enjoyable learning experience.

YOU SAID that assessment outlines can be difficult to understand, so WE have been reviewing and updating our assessment instructions to ensure clarity of informationand to help you succeed.

YOU SAID that you’d like to connect with your Student Advisor more so WE have added a Meet your Advisor section to each new occurrence so that you will immediately know who will be available to support you in your studies. WE have also improved our learner communications across the board to give you better, and more timely, support.

YOU SAID that there are broken links within the course content, so WE implemented a link checker that runs nightly, to identify broken links so that suitable, alternative material can be sourced.

YOU SAID that you want to feel more prepared for assessments, so WE are continuing our work in 2020 on further programme re-developments to ensure assessments align better with the course content.

YOU SAID that some of the assessment due dates over the Xmas / New Year Public holidays cause stress and issues, so WE have reviewed our course occurrences and all occurrences are now scheduled to ensure no assessment due dates during the Xmas / New Year Public holiday period unless you agree to it.

YOU SAID that you sometimes had issues logging in to the platform, sWE upgraded several system components to improve performance of the eCampus NZ learning platform.

Remember, you’re welcome to provide general feedback at any time by completing this anonymous online survey. Your feedback will be sent directly to the eCampus NZ Academic and Quality Manager.

Thank you for helping us provide a leading-edge learning experience. Keep that feedback coming!
