The Linux Pro course prepares you for working with the Linux operating system. You will gain an understanding of how the system differs from Microsoft. You will learn how to configure the operating system’s hardware; perform maintenance, diagnostic routines and troubleshoot problems. The course will cover the basics of automation and scripting.

What certifications can I sit?
At the end of the course, you will have the skills and knowledge needed to sit the TestOut Linux Pro certification exam and CompTIA’s Linux+ XKO-004. The cost of the TestOut certification exam is included in the course price.
What are the entry requirements?
This course is not suitable for beginners. It has been designed for learners who have studied information technology at tertiary level before. You may also be able to study this course if you have had significant exposure to IT systems previously.
When can I start studying?
There is no set start date for this course as it is self-directed. You can start studying at any time of the year.
