Our Collaborative Network

eCampus NZ is more than just an online learning platform. We are backed by some of the most well established and respected tertiary providers in New Zealand. This means any learner who gains a qualification through eCampus NZ is earning an industry recognised and quality assured education. It also means, unlike some online learning providers, you get to don the robe and cap and attend a graduation ceremony, if you so choose.

Our tertiary providers are located across the country and include Ara Institute of Canterbury, Otago Polytechnic (OP), Universal College of Learning (UCOL), Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology (NMIT), Eastern Institute of Technology (EIT), Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology and NorthTec.

Jo Miles, is Account Manager at eCampus NZ and manages the relationships with the Institutes. She says that prior to the launch of eCampus NZ every tertiary provider involved offered a comprehensive range of services and learner support but that the opportunity to deliver online learning to their learners has elevated their offering to the next level.

“Through eCampus NZ, these learning institutes are able to offer comprehensive, engaging and flexible online courses to learners who need it. They have been able to offer course occurrences and enrolments beyond the first and second semester and most importantly they have enabled more New Zealanders to get the benefits of studying through a major tertiary provider. New learners who might have never studied because of their rural location or work and family commitments are now discovering new skills and gaining qualifications online. It’s a fantastic result of the partnership,” says Jo.

So how does eCampus NZ select which tertiary provider a learner will be enrolled with? Jo says there are many factors that are considered.

“It depends on what part of New Zealand the learner lives in, the qualification they want to study and the learner’s preference. Through our online application form and our call centre of enrolment advisors we successfully manage learners enrolling across the seven different ITPs. It is an easy and straight forward process that we guide every learner through to ensure they get the right outcome for them,” said Jo.
