Meet Tracey – Enrolment Coordinator

For students starting their journey with eCampus NZ, Tracey Carter is often their first introduction to the team at eCampus NZ. As Enrolment Coordinator, it is her job to help students find the right study pathway to help them achieve their goals.

Tracey makes it her mission to find out what a student wants and needs out of their study through a series of questions. She then evaluates what courses and qualifications would be the best fit, creates a study plan and then once the student is ready – gets them all set up and enrolled at the institute that is right for their needs.

“I help students to upskill and work towards something better for themselves. It’s a really great feeling knowing that you are helping a person to achieve their goals and that you are having a positive impact on someone’s life by enrolling them to study. Whether they are 20, middle-aged or a mature student, it’s inspiring to hear people’s goals and how study is going to help them get there,” says Tracey.

A mother of two, living in Christchurch, Tracey chooses to work for eCampus NZ for many of the same reasons students decide to study online.

“Just like our students, we are offered flexible working conditions which I really admire. Having two young children and living a fairly transient lifestyle, it fits in perfectly,” says Tracey.

This understanding of why people select online learning, helps Tracey to assess and work with new students joining the eCampus NZ community.

“eCampus NZ lets students fit study into their own busy lifestyles. We provide options for students that are not available through traditional study. I love that we have students enrolling who wouldn’t be able to study if online learning wasn’t a choice. It’s really refreshing to help people to make study possible,” says Tracey.

So what advice does Tracey give to students thinking about studying with eCampus NZ?

“If you’re thinking about it, enquire and check out what might be right for you. We offer a variety of course and levels for a range of abilities. I can’t wait to help you find the right fit for you!”
