eCampus NZ is nominated for an eLearning award.

We are proud to announce that we are nominated in two categories in the 2020 LearnX Live! Awards.

We are nominated for an award in the Best Free eLearning Resource Design category for Tere: A Guide to Moving Online Swiftly. This interactive digital resource supports the swift development of an online learning environment, helping educators integrate e-learning tools and strategies into their practice efficiently and effectively. 

“This resource is a great representation of eCampus NZs’ commitment to knowledge-sharing across the sector throughout the COVID-19 lockdown and going forward, says eCampus NZ Chief Executive Pamela Simpson. 

Last year’s winners in this category included Ronald McDonald House, Wordology, the Canberra Health Services, and Box Hill Institute. 

We are also nominated in the Best Shift-it-Online eLearning Resource Design category for the development of our New Zealand Certificate in Business Accounting Support Services (Level 4). 

 In this programme, we use avatars to guide learners through the learning materials and help them make connections between what they’re learning and how it may be relevant in the workplace. This development exemplifies our evolution of thinking around eLearning, in that it truly places the learner at the centre of the learning experience, says Product and Service Manager John West.   

Among last year’s winners in this category were VicHealth, LearaCroomo and Victoria University Polytechnic (Australia).

eCampus NZ uses an online tool called Turnitin to check your assignment files against the content of other websites and databases. Turnitin has informed us that they have now added AI writing detection capabilities to their plagiarism review tools.Click here for more details.
