Learner Notice Board
Nau mai, haere mai! Welcome to our notice board for current learners.
We’re here to support you throughout your learning journey. Your course facilitator and student advisor will work together to make sure that you have all the information you need to achieve your learning goals.
Announcements relevant to all current learners will also be posted on this page. If you have any questions, please reach out to your student advisor or facilitator.
Kia ora koutou,
Did you know that you can access the library and support services of your enrolling institute? Whether you enrolled with Ara, UCOL, NorthTec, Otago Polytechnic, NMIT, EIT, or Toi-Ohomai, you’re always welcome on campus, and you are encouraged to use their learning support and library services!
We know that some learners using eCampus NZ just live too far away from campus. That’s why we have caring and skilled facilitators and student advisors to help you through your learning journey.
But if you do happen to live close to campus, why not make the most of it? Joining your institute’s Facebook page is a great way to make sure you keep up to date with the support services and workshops they offer throughout the year.
For example, did you know that EIT’s Tairawhiti campus are running workshops on APA referencing on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week in their library from 12-1pm, and a session on oral presentations on Thursday at the same time?
You can also check your institute’s website to see the support services they offer. There’s a huge amount of support available to you, from academic support workshops to one-on-one appointments about your academic, mental and emotional wellbeing. Click on your institute’s name to find out more: EIT, Ara, UCOL, NorthTec, Otago Polytechnic, NMIT, Toi–Ohomai.
In addition, if you’re looking for extra support resources, you can log in to your enrolling institute’s student portal using the log in details sent to you during the enrolment process. This is a great way to access support resources and keep up to date with news.
eCampus NZ and your enrolling institute work together to make sure you have what you need to succeed. If you’d like to access learning support, speaking to your student advisor is a great first step, as they know what’s available and can connect you with someone who can help.
Noho ora mai,
Your eCampus NZ team
COVID-19 Latest Updates
Kia ora koutou,
On Sunday, Auckland moved to Alert Level 3 and the rest of New Zealand moved to Alert Level 2. These levels will remain in place for the next seven days.
Your study with eCampus NZ should not be affected. Please be aware that you should check your enrolling institute’s website for guidance before using their on campus facilities.
If the changes to the alert levels will impact on your ability to study, please get in touch with your student advisor and we will find a solution together.
If you’re struggling and need to talk things through, it’s important to ask for help. Click on your Institute of Technology and Polytechnic below to find out more about the counselling and student support services available to you.
